THE INTEGRITY PROJECT

This page provides access to an anonymous survey for donation and transplantation professionals, researchers, transplant recipients, family members of deceased donors, registered organ and tissue donors, ethicists, and others. The survey is part of a global consultation seeking feedback on the draft ethical guidelines for research involving donation and transplantation from deceased donors.
Before starting the survey, please download and read the full copy of the draft guidelines via this link.
Please note that the phrase "research involving deceased donors" is used in these draft guidelines to encompass all research activities considered within scope, rather than repeatedly referring to "research involving deceased donors or organs, cells, or tissues donated after death." Research activities "involving deceased donors" include those involving:
-
People who are being or have been considered as potential deceased donors for transplantation, but who may not become actual donors.
-
Use in research of organs, cells, or tissues donated after death.
-
Research involving transplant recipients from deceased donors.
-
Research involving family members of deceased donors where the research relates to their donation experiences or decision-making regarding donation. Review the Scope section in the draft guidelines document for more information. To download a copy of the full draft guidelines, click here: [link]
